Vanuatu Dive Packages

Aore Adventure Sports & Lodge is your beachfront base for exploring the wrecks and reefs of Espiritu Santo. Set on the quiet, palm-fringed shore of Aore Island, directly across the channel from Luganville, our accommodation puts you within easy reach of some of the finest Vanuatu diving in the South Pacific. Rather than pushing you into a fixed tour, we build every stay around you, combining a comfortable waterfront base with the diving and island experiences that suit your group.

That flexibility is what sets our Vanuatu dive packages apart. Whether you are chasing the legendary SS President Coolidge, easing into your first open-water dives, or bringing a whole group, we customise the schedule and inclusions to suit your preferences. Share your vision, and we will handle the logistics.

Why Choose a stay-and-dive package

Arranging a diving holiday piece by piece is complex and time-consuming. Our stay and dive Vanuatu package streamlines everything, saving you effort and making your trip more enjoyable by coordinating flights, accommodation, and transfers under one plan.

When you book with us, your bed, your dives, your transfers and your activities are coordinated as a single plan. You wake up metres from the water, your gear and boat times are sorted the night before, and your non-diving days are just as straightforward to organise. This simplicity gives you confidence and peace of mind.

What may be included

Every package is quoted individually, so inclusions depend on your dates, your group and your goals. Depending on what you request, your Vanuatu diving packages may include:

  • Private waterfront accommodation on Aore Island
  • Guided wreck and reef dives around Espiritu Santo
  • Dives on the SS President Coolidge
  • Equipment hire for divers who prefer to travel light
  • PADI training and certification courses
  • Transfers to and from Luganville
  • Non-diving activities and island experiences

We only ever quote services we can confirm for your trip, so you always know exactly what you are paying for before you commit.

Featured Dive Experiences

SS President coolidge

The SS President Coolidge is the reason many divers come to Santo. A former luxury liner turned wartime troopship, she now rests on her side just off the shore and is accessible from the beach. Her sheer scale and famous fittings reward repeat dives, and our guides know her layout intimately.

million dollar point

A short distance away, Million Dollar Point is where vast quantities of military equipment were pushed into the sea at the end of the Second World War. Bulldozers, cranes, trucks and other machinery now form an artificial reef teeming with life, making it both a fascinating dive and an easy snorkel.

Aore Island And Espiritu Santo Reefs

Beyond the wrecks, the reefs around Aore and Espiritu Santo offer warm, clear water, healthy coral and gentle conditions. These sites are perfect for relaxed reef diving and underwater photography, appealing to divers seeking variety and new adventures. We welcome beginners, qualified divers, and advanced explorers, ensuring your itinerary matches your experience level.

Waterfront Accommodation on Aore Island

Our private accommodation sits directly on the beach, with the channel and the Santo skyline in front of you. Self-catering facilities let you eat on your own schedule, which is genuinely useful around early boat departures and long days of diving. A generous deck gives you somewhere to unwind between dives, and direct beach access means the water is always a few steps away. The setting is calm and unhurried, a real island retreat rather than a busy resort strip.

Sample Package Ideas

These are examples to spark ideas, not fixed offers. We shape the final package around your dates and your group.

3-Night Diving Escape

A short, focused trip for divers who want to tick off the highlights. Ideal for a long weekend built around a handful of signature dives.

5-night wreck and reef package

A balanced stay pairing multiple Coolidge dives with reef sites and a rest day—a popular choice for couples and small groups who want depth without feeling rushed.

7-night complete dive holiday

A full week combining wreck diving, reef exploration, optional training and time to enjoy the island. Well suited to families and larger groups travelling together.

Whatever the length, we adapt the plan for singles, couples, families and groups.

For Non- divers

Not everyone in the group will spend the day underwater, and that is perfectly fine. Where available, non-divers can enjoy snorkelling straight off the beach, kayaking along the shoreline, cycling the island, fishing, and quiet stretches of sand to themselves. Day trips across to Espiritu Santo open up blue holes, local markets, freshwater swimming spots and other island sights.

Planning your vanuatu diving holiday

A few practical points help you plan. Wreck penetration and deeper dives call for the appropriate certification, and our team will confirm what your chosen sites require. Bring your own equipment if you prefer, or arrange hire with us ahead of time. For a proper crack at the Coolidge and the surrounding reefs, most divers find five to seven nights a comfortable length. Vanuatu diving is possible year-round, with warm water throughout, though visibility and conditions vary by season, so it is worth asking about the best timing for your dates. Our dive calendar can help you plan around this.
